More about the Falcon 2000LX
Launched in 2007 at the European Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition (EBACE), the 2000LX is a more efficient, longer range derivative of the Falcon 2000EX. It officially replaced the EX in the middle of 2010. The original Falcon 2000 was a hugely successful high-performance business jet boasting a large cabin, high speeds, and optimized economy. Over 10 years later, the Falcon 2000LX is an updated version which improves upon its strengths without completely redefining what made it so successful. The result is the most modern and advanced version of the Falcon 2000 available today. The Falcon 2000LX features modified wings and added winglets which increase range and flight performance. With the addition of blended winglets to the EX's frame, the LX can now fly over 4,000 nautical miles. Impressively, despite being able to travel more than 200 nautical miles more than the EX, the LX consumes the same amount of fuel over 4,000 nautical miles that the EX consumes to over 3,800 nautical miles.

Key Features of the Falcon 2000LX
Interior accommodation for passengers is spacious and comfortable. The cabin dimensions of the 2000LX are 26' 2" length, 7' 8" width, and 6' 2" height. With 1,024 cubic feet of interior space, passengers will find that they have much-appreciated freedom of movement and leg room. Although the cabin can seat up to 10 passengers in a high-density seating arrangement, the most typical and comfortable arrangement accommodates eight passengers in a luxurious lounge atmosphere. Multiple lounge areas, two fold-down bed-like seats, a forward galley, a full aft lavatory, and a variety of possible interior customizations each work in conjunction to create a relaxing travel environment. The Falcon 2000LX is a prime example of Dassault's determination to not only produce excellent aircraft but to continually improve upon their successes. The latest version is the ultimate modern refinement of an already hugely successful aircraft. The Falcon 2000LX is an excellent option for travelers looking for premier wide-body business jet performance.
Capabilities of the Falcon 2000LX
The Falcon 2000 series is based on the popular Falcon 900 series, but is a smaller, lighter, twin-engine version of the three-engined 900 model. The original Falcon 2000 was designed to have the same wide-bodied appeal of the 900 although shorter in length with less maximum range. This was not necessarily a disadvantage however, as the shorter range allows the Falcon 2000 to use one less engine in a more economical twin-engine setup. The 2000LX utilizes two Part & Whitney Canada PW308C engines, which each provide over 7,000 lbs of thrust. It can consistently fly at an impressive cruising speed of 493 ktas. Featuring a Rockwell Collins Pro Line 4 integrated avionics suite, Honeywell EASy Avionics panel, four flat panel displays, a GNS-XES Flight Management System, and a Collins TWR-850 radar, the pilot can easily maintain awareness, efficiency, and workload comfort while operating the aircraft. These state-of-the-art navigational instruments ensure the safety and reliability of the flight, while also making command of the aircraft intuitive and responsive for the pilot.
