Key Features of the Citation VI

The Cessna Citation VI has numerous configurations, but is generally equipped to accommodate six to nine passengers. The cabin of the Citation VI measures 18 feet long, stretches 5.8 feet wide, and reaches 5.9 feet in height. This private business jet features a maximum differential pressure of 9.3 psi, allowing for a sea level cabin altitude at an altitude of 25,230 feet. With this maximum differential, the Citation VI is also capable of maintaining an 8,000 foot cabin altitude at its maximum certified ceiling of 51,000 feet. The cabin area comes standard with comfortable, adjustable seats, convenient and sturdy tables that fit between the seats, and a refreshment center. More insulation is installed in the Citation VI for better heat distribution and noise cancellation. Engine bleed air is utilized for the anti-ice of the engine inlets, wing leading edges, and the windshield.

The Cessna Citation VI comes standard with two Garrett TFE 731-3C-100 two spool geared turbofan engines. These engines are rated at 3,650 pounds of thrust each at take off. With these high performing engines, the Citation VI requires 5,030 feet of runway to take off and needs only 2,424 feet of runway to land on a standard day. If a quick flight fits best into your business schedule, the Citation VI is capable of maintaining 468 knots at an altitude of 39,000 feet in a high speed cruise configuration. Instrumentation in this package includes a Honeywell EDZ-600 EFIS, a Honeywell 8000 EGPWS, a Sperry Primus 300SL color radar, a Honeywell PZ-650 A/P, a King KMD-850 multi function display (MFD), dual Collins VHF-22C communication systems, dual Collins VIR-32 navigation systems, dual Collins DME-42, a Collins ADF-60, dual Collins TDR-90, dual King KHF-950, a King KMH-820 TCAS I, dual Honeywell GNS-XLS, and a Sperry SPZ-650 FDS. Mode S transponders come standard with this Collins package.
